Production Planning
 To plan weekly production (technical planning) schedule of the shop
 To ensure the target production on daily basis
 To prepare and modify daily production schedule and material requirements based on production
shortfalls, if any
 To expedite delivery of items based on completion of production schedule
Production Management
 To keep the cost of production as per target
 To maintain target production output with rejection controls and quality.
 To monitor the production process and re-schedule, whenever required.
 To optimize on inventory requirements.
 To develop quality strategy in co-ordination with Quality Assurance for the department
 To document and implement standard operating procedure for all processes in the department
 To co-ordinate with other departments to ensure compliance with production and despatch
schedule, standards, systems and procedures
